The brown bag... reminds me of the very first MRE I ever had when I was in the USMC Delayed entry program in 1994. Glad that didn't work out. Those were still kicking around here and there in 2001 when I went in the Army.

I remember eating that Pork Patty when I was in Ft. Polk back in 82. It took some time to get used to it, I can’t remember how many times I eat that Pork Patty.

Used to love that mre I used to put the catsup in the water with the pork patty to make a kind of tomato gravy

Love the way those crackers look. Like formed saltines. Wayyy cool same as the catsup. This whole meal looks like it would’ve been really good back then, luckily for you still the same. Great video Matt also love the shirt haha.

Howdy Matt! Been A long time since I have seen this ration. Very cool friend. You are the 2nd person in 2 weeks, that had the catsup still hold up. That is rare, agreed sir. I guarantee, the cheese will not, LOL. I miss those salted crackers as well. Good looking meal. Bad Cheese was to be expected. They just refuse to last. Nicely done, Peace, John.

I was always a fan of the dehydrated pork patty. I often would eat them crunchy style. And then you get the cheese and crackers, which always rock. And cocoa, so you open the pouch add a bit of water, stir in the creamer and you got chocolate pudding. Only had this kind in training where they gave us the old stuff. I see you mentioned in another comment you had the dehydrated beef patty. I liked those too, but it has been too long for me to remember what all else comes in it.
