I was looking for this too! Common sense approach and perspective. Thank you.

I try to keep a set of 31s with street tread and a set of 33 mud tires. Change them out in late fall and back after the last frost.

Looks great @ 33! I'm looking to do the same with my 2015 SR5 Crew Max. This helps!

true tire height of 33-34 inch and width 275-295 is best. don’t hack up your tundras and kill the performance and reliability. bracket lifts are for street trucks

I have 33s on my Tacoma with a 3 inch lift kit now and they look small. Plan to run 34s soon I think that’s a happy median for my truck. Since I overland it . But for your purpose 33 looks good . I don’t like too much poke on a truck

I went with almost 35s (315/70r17) and I've been very happy with my setup. Tundra's look proper leveled on 35s. Looks more proportional than the tiny stock 32 inch tires they come with. Mpg didn't decrease a whole lot cause I have light 17s and Ko2s so lost 1 to 1.5 mpg at most. Just depends how I drive. Yours still looks good with 33s, I think its cause of your offset why you had so much rubbing and issues.

Need a more practical offset like a +35 or +40, then there’s zero cutting and hardly any work to fit 35s.

Color match your fender flares it looks way better and gives it a cheap wide body look.
