Remember on 4 corners, Where they had the fiber joined directly to the copper via a connecter! And I think it wasn't even in a junction box! It was just buried in the ground!

My node & pillar are on different blocks, hence my limit of speeds to 50/20. I’m not complaining now that it’s stable & not less than half those speeds, as they were for a nightmarish 6 months as NBN did everything bar fix things...

In the FTTN model, the further away from the node you are, the lower the connection quality you get, right? So why did NBN decide the best place to put the node is on the edges of the areas each one is servicing, rather than the middle? Also, why did they lay fibre optic cables up my street, almost right to my door in fact, when my street is a cul de sac and no-one in the street will be connecting to that fibre cable and it terminates next to my driveway and leads nowhere? What was the point?

I dont get it, that was a pillar not a node. It's called fibre to the node, not fibre to the pillar.
