“Moral Panic” Labour MPs Consider Leaving X After Musk Clash With Starmer

Talk’s Jeremy Kyle and Institute of Economic Affairs editorial director Kristian Niemietz discuss considerations by Labour MPs to leave X, formerly known as Twitter, after Elon Musk criticised Keir Starmer’s handling of the UK riots.

Mr Musk used the hashtag #TwoTierKeir on X – a reference to allegations police have treated some protesters more harshly than others, and suggested “civil war is inevitable”.

The role of social media in the violence and disorder on Britain’s streets has come under scrutiny.
