Yeah it should be; the best way to know for sure is to check the user manual, or go online, and find out if the frequency that the harmony remote operates is between 34-60 kHz. If it does (which is very likely) it will work with your remote.

You can use a 3.5mm extender, we have a 75 foot one at sewelldirect(dot)com. You could also purchase a device called the Dual Band InjectIR that will send the IR signal over an HDMI cord if you are already using one between your TV and DVR.
