Mykonos Diving Center - Dive Against Debris

September 16th 2017 was international coastal cleanup day, where almost 12 million people helped in an effort to clean and protect the ocean. We decided to clean our home reef on Paradise beach and after 1,5 hours in the water we came out with about 25kg of trash. We divided all the debris into categories and registered our findings with Project Aware.

Please try to make an effort in any way possible. If you see a plastic cup, pick it up. If you have the option between a paper or plastic cup, pick the paper. Say no to straws and buy glass bottles. The ocean is so important to the environment and we need to take care of it before it is too late. Let's save the planet together!
