I got cushion of seniority in my job security through the union. If I get laid off they have to lay off 8 custodians and then they makes us be less like down to 6 custodians now we have 15 people. So I am protected!!

Big companies like IBM have to file Warn notices. Pretty sure you can just search the Warn notice database and figure out how many jobs are being lost.
