Honestly, I don't know that I would call this weird. Dying of a wound as a result of overconfidence, about as Richard 'Cœur de lion' as one could expect.

That must've sucked for the kid, imagine witnessing the kindness of a stranger possibly changing your entire world view, then witnessing the true evils man can muster, back to back. Like Idek what I would think if that happened to me.. 😅
