Netanyahu Gave Biden 'Evidence' That Israel Not Behind Gaza Blast

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Wednesday that he presented US President Joe Biden "with conclusive evidence that the Islamic Jihad, and not the IDF, was the one that fired the missile and it was the one that hit the hospital in Gaza."

"I instructed our national information system and the IDF to spread these proofs, and the world today knows the truth," said Netanyahu in a video address shortly after US President Joe Biden's departure from Israel.

There were conflicting claims of who was responsible for the hospital blast. Officials in Gaza quickly blamed an Israeli airstrike. Israel denied it was involved and released a flurry of video, audio and other information that it said showed the blast was instead due to a missile misfire by Islamic Jihad, another militant group operating in Gaza. The Islamic Jihad dismissed that claim.
