It's well known that Dogs can hear sounds in a much higher frequency range than humans so why would it be nonsense that they could detect an incoming shell before a human? Some reporters are so melodramatic.

Dogs hearing is like 1000 times more sensitive than humans so they can hear the incoming from farther away than humans so once the dogs learn what that sound means and what to do then they become a asset certainly a reliable way to dodge rockets

I’ve watched very many videos of mortar and rocket strikes, in many of the clips camp dogs run from the area just before the munition strike. I noticed along time ago and thought it was odd, and in most of the video of attacks, more often than not the dogs run just before the strike. It’s more than a coincidence. Some of the clips the dogs move more than 5 seconds before impact.

It´s truly sad, what happens in the Ukraine, especially for the elderly people.
They didn´t do anything with the madness and cruelness during the war.
I´m glad that my grandparents didn´t live anymore, because of the Second World War.
I pray for the ending the war in the Ukraine and the peace on earth.

This dog thing is real. They hear much better than humans. So they recognise a noise and may react to it. So its kind of logical that they can be of use.
