Camping World. THIS IS NOT GOOD!!

A quick video on our first and only experience with camping world. We have owned our camper since June and it was in the shop at Camping World for a total of almost 4 months waiting on parts and repairs. Some campers may loose their camping seasons if they have the same issues we had.

It takes 1 guy about 3 hours to winterize a camper, without shrink wrap. Antifreeze about 10 bucks and 100 in labor .

So here’s an update on our situation. We took the camper back last December because our leak returned. Called in September for an appointment they said we can get you scheduled in 3 months. Oh yea and warranty repairs are only good for 6 months so we are responsible for the cost. Took the camper in they inspected it and couldn’t find a source of the leak. I brought it home and waited for a warm day and after hour’s of inspecting and sealing I found the leak and STOPPED IT! We are done with Camping World!!!!

when you buy an RV...you have to buy one knowing you have to fix things by yourself. never ever rely on warrenty...get handy because many things are easily fixable.

I bought a travel trail cover for mine online.
When I got it, it wasn’t right one but they wouldn’t allow a refund or exchange.
What a joke….never will buy anything from them again.

We went to a dealership that was associated with camping world we didn't buy because the salesman and the finance department absolutely suck hind tit but shortly after that we got back home from Wichita Kansas My bank notified me that my bank account have been hacked and asked me if we had bought anything from camper world we never bought anything from camper world but they hacked into my bank account and took $500 which my bank had stopped and notified me I'll never go to camping world again never ever.

I learned my lesson the first time I bought an RV from Camping World! I refuse to buy so much as a stick of gum from Camping World! EVER!!

They had mine from day one and we did not get ours back for almost a year and they could never fix it. Then they wanted to take $5000 off when we try to trade it in. Saying that’s what it’s gonna cost them to fix. What I thought you couldn’t fix it. Bunch of crooks we are now getting ready for a lawsuit. Contact us if you would like to join on the lawsuit.

So I bought a 2017 Rockwood HW last Monday and they had to come pick it up Tuesday because I got it up and everything at home to discover the black water tank was half full as well as the fresh water being full of winterizing liquid. Needless to say I was upset. I made them come get it and clean it and bring it back. It has previous water damage no one ever told us about then denied any of it when asked and didn't fix things we asked them to or that agreed to. Won't ever happen again. They were nice to us too but service manager was awful didn't return calls, never did what he said he would and now I've got a camper that's got issues that I'm paying for. Paying it off as soon as I can and will buy elsewhere next time.

When we started looking for a class B a couple years ago we already knew the number 1 consideration was CW would not be in the mix. One important point to remember is CW also operates as other brands so please do your homework. We live close to a CW that bought out a large independent dealer that many liked in our area near Nashville. This was Cullem and Maxey which is next door to CW near Opryland. Their sign now says Gander RV but otherwise they're CW. Unfortunately, CW buys out numerous smaller chains or independents and seems like some they convert to CW branding and others they use something else. If this was discussed in the video and I missed it, I'm sorry. Travel safe

That new unit has an insurance claim and worse, ...you paid full price for something that was damaged and had to be repaired while you made payments on something that you couldn’t use and your not upset or angry about that, ..or disappointed
