I was born in 69 and lived in rothwell rd with my sister Eileen R.I.P. just a sones throw from central middle school until 78. Then moved to the grange.
I stood in line with my cousin to see Grease at the “flea pit” the royalty picture house. My mother and grandfather frequented the globe bingo for many years.
I had a wonderful childhood looking back now, I miss those days now.
Thanks for your pictures and videos of our great city.

My mum is in the first picture of jubilee Road school . Back row second from the left . My brother went to that school and so did I. 1968 to 72 . Rhona Edgar. Stephen and Martyn Edgar.
