Hey Alan. I'm back again with a question for you. Are the pickup heights adjustable on the DK24? I hear they're mounted to the body but I don't know if that means you can or can't adjust them. Any insight would be great as I can't really find any information on this on the internet! Thank you sir!

Gorgeous guitar, I’ve never played a Charvel, My ex had a bra 34 DD in that color, she tried to strangle me with it, I still have it, it would make a perfect matching guitar strap for that guitar, anyway I digressed, Happy Birthday 🎂

Just got the laser blue one after MUCH DEBATE!! I couldn't be more pleased. Only issue was a little frets sprout, .... which I quickly rectified. These things are incredible value. The pickups and components are high quality and work magnificently. The Tusq nut is beautifully cut. The Charvel brand locking tuners are possibly the best feeling and stable tuners work perfectly. The Gotoh 510 custom term is also incredibly stable and expressive. Fit and finish is flawless. I purchased mine at my local GC and got it for $900 with Roadrunner hardshell case all brand spanking new out the door. At first the shorter scale was a bit of a put off. After a few minutes of playing I fell in love. Was about to buy the Ibanez AZ242 expresso burst but the Charvel just destroyed it in every department. The necks on these things are incredibly good. Mine has an unusually dark roast on it. It's just a wonderful axe. I can't recommend it enough. Its definitely NOT an entry level guitar. It's a professional quality guitar ready to gig. And for the record, ....when I cranked my Marshall DSL40 Vintage Classic and slapped that 5 way to the back, .?.?.?.?.?.?. that Full Shred absolutely ripped my face off. The clarity and articulation of that pickup is outstanding. Just go try one. It WILL NOT DISAPPOINT.

If you sit with the guitar on your left leg, does the jack socket actually get in the way with it sticking out at that angle?

What's the durabilty of the whammy bar? It looks very slim and easly breakable compared to ibanez AZ series.

Alan - you mentioned that these pickups aren't too hot. I'm looking for some that are -- searching for that huge chugging metal sound. Can you recommend a guitar, Charvel or otherwise, that would fit that bill?
