I haven't seen a clean version of this song out so i wasn't sure how you'd change up the explicit lyrics and I'll admit it's not my thing but your cover is great regardless of my opinion on the word choice. I just prefer the explicit version. I feel like the anger and sadness cracks through more with the lyrics. Usually cursing is anger and sadness, deep. My own experiences anyways. I still have your old EP in my playlist from years ago. "Sleeping On Us" was my ringtone in 2019 when I gave birth to my daughter. Very nostalgic ❤
