This will create more confusion and by removing the pylons it’ll be easier for violators to jump in and out of the lane and continue to cause devastating wrecks. Why not just eliminate the HOV lane completely.

The pylon system made some guy and his company very rich. I wonder who proposed them and then contracted the installation and maintenance? I'll guarantee you, some good ole boys got to fill their pockets on this years ago!!

The pylons make zero sense and don't allow access properly. They were stupidly designed to funnel people in and off of 635, but they don't allow people in or out at any reasonable locations. Making it an open HOV or just another regular lane would be so much safer.

Great now they create nightmare traffic to take the pylons down. I remember how bad traffic was when they first put them up and when they sometimes used to fix them
