I really hope that if any of my future children want to change their name, that we’ll be close enough for them to want my input on their name ❤️

Especially since I’ll likely name them after passed-away loved ones, so it would definitely mean a lot of they chose to incorporate that in their name. I am actually planning on gender-bending my father’s name, he was Allan, and I’d really like to name a daughter Allison. But if Allison ends up being a trans guy, or nonbinary, I’d be super honoured if they went with “Allan” or “Allie” or something.

Though if not, I wouldn’t be offended. It’s their name, and if they didn’t wanna go with something similar to their deadname, I would understand.

I opened a google sheets sheet and came up with a formula to determine a choice of name depending on my taste in names (-0.5*((numbers of letter))/4). Each value was out of 2 besides syllables.
Here are the values:
5th place: Peyton with 1.325
4th place: Danny with 1.35625
3rd place: Jesse with
2nd place: Quinn with 1.925
1st place: River with 1.975
