In English - at least in Standard American English - to "kiss something goodye" means to accept that the unavoidable loss of something.

For instance:

Since I punched my boss in the face, I can kiss my job goodbye.

When I lent him the cash, I did not know he was a cheat. I can kiss that money goodbye.

My dad married a gold-digger who is younger than me. I can kiss my inheritance goodbye.

As a native English speaker with more than 60 years experience, I don't think your example shows the expression to mean what you are saying it means.

Ich würde sagen, 'in your dreams' ist eine bessere Übersetzung. 'To kiss something good-bye' benutzt man, wenn man ein Ding oder eine Gelegenheit für immer verliert.

This is not what "kiss something goodbye" means. Not all the time anyway. It more often means you'll never get a chance to do something again or see something again.
"Kiss my ass goodbye because I'm never coming back to USA" zB
I think you're thinking of the expression "that ship has sailed".
