Whoever wrote the script needs to redo it. You should say "He sadly collapsed backstage" or "He worryingly collapsed backstage". Saying tragically implies he passed away after he collapsed as that is the typical use of the word, context wise. And he is very much alive.

People need to give this guy some more respect as far as the professional wrestler goes and putting his body on the line because he is taking many dangerous high risks and this one just actually causing to get injured and even though I don’t like the character because he’s a bad guy. I respect the man behind the character and think he’s underrated.
