2022 Fall Striptilling

Just out in the tractor cab strip-tilling some cover crop ground (previous winter wheat) making strips to plant next year's corn into.

An excellent teaching video for those of like me who learned their farming from watching Green Acres back in the day🤣! The old adage of farming for me as a kid was poke a hole in the ground, drop a seed, water and wait for the product to grow, then ride by on a wagon and pick! More or less like a cartoon. But having watched your videos, the amount of preparing on paper with numbers and predictions while dealing with the Always changing weather, not to mention the actual hard labor and sweat AND maintenance, I have come to very much appreciate my food and when I'm saying my grace or prayers, I ALWAYS include the hardworking Famers and their Families! In my eyes your all a very good example of good honest, hardworking people, that know a lot of what to do and what not to do. Glad to see you back! I really appreciate seeing the work that goes into prepping for harvesting. Just a side note, I purchased my first Steer to be processed and it truly brings a whole perspective on what it takes to raise, feed, fertilize, etc… even when buying produce at the store.
