You also mentioned that you would like to be at the point where you dont make mistakes anymore... I always wanted to have the skills to do what ever i want but when i could i stopped wanting it... I had the feeling i had nothing more to prove for myself... Now i constantly switch into painting walls, canvasses, sketching, portraits, cartoon, realistic, sculpting, miniatures, what ever keeps me statisfied... Then i got the problem people dont recognise my art very well because everything is so diffrent from each other... You NEVER stop having issues, thats what makes you creative, and an artist! :)

I always see mistakes on my pieces as well, but exactly thats why you evolve because you never feel yourself good enough. You know you can do it better, but thats the thing about everything you do in life, making mistakes and learning from it.

I hate that I'm literally the only active artist out of every single person that I know. I don't know a single person in real life that practices art right now and I desperately want to be around other artists.

Having no one to share your passion with can be seriously demotivating.

I'm writing graff since I was 12 or 13 (22 y.o. now), I was bombing illegaly all over the city, expecialy through high school. I was always getting anoyed when someone went over my piece or when it got removed, I was even in few fights because of it. Now I don't take art too seriously and that's the reason why I enjoy it. I always have a sketchbook and markers next to my bed and whenever I feel like it I just draw, sometimes it's 2 times a week, sometimes it's 2 times a month. I buy paint here and there and go to some abandoned building and always paint in the same spot (over myself) for a photo and that's it. Never shared it online, never told anyone about it, and it's a perfect stress relief for me. People are always trying to be better than someone else, and like you said, people will always brag over instagram, facebook etc. and when they see someone better they get depressed. I'm just trying to be better than myself every time I do a piece, and that's what matters to me.
