I've been waiting to play this since about 2005 when it was supposed to get a PS2 release in the US and they canceled it and released it on Xbox. Who would've thought that it would've taken almost 20 years.

This game got trashed on release, but I really love it. This is partly because it came out when a friend of mine worked at the local mall arcade and when it closed for the night he'd let me in and put SvC on free play. Best times.

Why is this trailer censored compared to the JP version?
Anyone excited over SVC Chaos is probably old enough to handle some cleavage.
It's also inconsistent. You censor Mai's cleavage at 1:30 but not at 1:07, and covered Athena's bikini at 1:30 but left it in at 0:38, making the censorship kind of pointless and confusing.

20 years ago, I was a game reviewer/senior staff writer for an indie site. Fighting was (and still is!) my favorite genre; I'd been playing since SFII in the arcades and played every series extensively, so everyone on the staff knew I was the one who could cover the fighting games in-depth. SNK always mailed me their games directly; aside from Atlus, they were probably the best studio I interacted with. While they had a great lineup for the PS2, it always annoyed me how SVC Chaos was a XBox exclusive. I only had a PS2 and GameCube back then. Now I'll finally get to play it!
