A mistake through the Dauphin County Clerk of Courts contributed to an inmate being released instead of incarcerated at a local SCI, according to officials.

On Tuesday, 20-year-old Tyrin Murray of Harrisburg pleaded guilty to illegally owning a firearm which first led to his incarceration at Dauphin County Prison and his subsequent release that started an active investigation, the office of Judge William Tully confirmed to CBS 21.
