Ness is such a cool kid. He has so many cool styles in his alts. He's one of few characters where I just don't always feel like picking the same color when I select him. Almost every fighter in the game I pretty much picked the same outfit every time I pick them but with Ness I changed it up because they're just all so cool. Even cooler to find out more about his costume origins

i believe the purple and white fit is based on the main colors of threed, the third city in earthbound

I always assumed that the costumes were references to the different border flavors in Earthbound but looking it up now they don't change the checkerboard background.

The master belch outfit matches better the in-game sprites instead of the clay model, the clay model it's way darker for some reason
