Traditional Pub Food in a SMALL Village Pub in Rural Britain

Today I went out with my Grandparents to enjoy some Traditional pub food in a small village pub with a traditional thatched roof in rural britain. I live on the Isle of Wight which is a very very rural area and there are many traditional buildings like this, especially nice local pubs.
The pub we went to today is called the Village Inn in Shanklin if you wish to go there yourself!

If you are visiting the UK it is definitely worth a drive out to one of the villages outside of the big cities to visit nice traditional pubs like this as they often have a very nice architecture and environment and the people are probably more friendly all in all.

I had my favourite traditional pub food which is just a good old british steak. I don't usually have sirloins but it was excellent. I've spent alot of time in France so I've eaten many steaks. Generally, in the UK they will over cook your steak. So if you want it medium rare, definitely ask for a rare and expect it to be one degree better cooked than you asked for.

Midwest US here. Your steak is medium, on the verge of medium-well. There might appear a person from Texas who accuses you of every sin imaginable for burning it 9th level of Hell style. That said, fun video to watch. Keep it up!
