As a Duke fan I am so happy UNC extended Hubert's contract

UNC played a good game and Duke played a less-than-average game. I think UNC could bounce a team or two in the big dance if they make it and play like that but this Duke team is just THAT GOOD. Lets not deny that...

BL, Duke is really good! The fire Hubert stuff is unnecessary. The team competed and carried what we've seen these last six games into this one.

It's going to take Carolina's best game to even have a chance against this Duke team. ACC tourney is not going to be easy, too. Possibly Pitt (always tough), then a motivated Wake just to have a chance at a Quad 1 in Duke. Looking bleak, but every game starts 0-0. Throw it up and hope they make some magic happen next week Tar Heel fans. Go Heels! 🐏

Duke is a better program now and they have the best coach, unc has dropped to the second tier of basketball programs, average, mid of the pack, bubble teams who may make the turney....
JS is mentally superior and Duke will own unc as long as there is nothing done about the head coach position..

I have been a carolina fan 40 years. This is a great program but our current direction is predictable. Fans deserve better than constant excuses. This has went on all year. Lets step back and look at a team that was #1 and didnt make NCAA tournament. Something is wrong with team dynamics. RJ twenty points and next man 11. We are being out scored, out defense, beat at what is supposed be our game if running. We have become a laugh and are not respected If this isnt corrected NC wont be the force they were at one time

How long is unc going to make the fans to endure this? Please get a real coach. What is it going to take to actually hold him accountable? Some of the losses this season were the most embarassing i can remember since watching carolina basketball. We will miss another NCAA tournament this year with 2 five star freshman and a returning all american 5th year senior. Make it stop!

Why even have a press conference with this clown! Same questions and same answers every game. He said he dont think about needing to win the ACC Tournament to get into Tournament? Wow. I think its time you started thinking more.

Great effort overall. All I would say is the offense at some point has to be more than ball screens and iso ball that style just isn’t sustainable for consistent winning basketball. Al in all on this beautiful Sunday afternoon it’s still a GDTBATH !

Lots of hating going on in this thread. Look UNCs best shot wasn't good enough. Period. Flagg only scored 15 pts and was largely out of the game on the first half. Duke is a legit Final 4 team. Other than that, UNC players just need to look in the 🪞 and ask themselves why they played harder in the last 7 games and not the entire season that way. It's easy to blame Hubert but the players have to own this, too.

Been saying it since the beginning of season WE NEED SIZE AND TOUGHNESS. Basketball is a tall mans game and we are not going to accomplish anything if out starting center is 6 foot 7 i mean lubin plays bigger than he is but that will only take u so far. We should have got more size and length and defenders in the portal. We have great defensive guards but our bigs just dont cut it on defense and no rebounding or depth on this team. Jalen Washington doesn't play hard or tough enough for his size and withers and lubin can only do so much. Duke had great defenders and great bench defenders which was the difference in this ball game. We need to go out in portal next year and get some big ole dudes that can play defense and rebound. Like hard tough nosed players who don't need to score all the time like a Udonis Haslem or Charles Oakly type of players but taller. WE NEED ENFORCERS COACH
