I too have long, fine hair and I wear it to the side. After drying my hair I put in 3 velcro rollers at the crown and that gives me volume. Don't use dry shampoo. It can clog the pores on your scalp, dry your scalp and make your hair flake skin like dandruff. ( In the 70's I was a hairdresser) Loved the consultation. ❤

He is quite right. Those dry shampoos have to have chemicals in them. Read the labels and research the chemical names. Parts in the middle of the head make the hair look dead and doesn't allow for volume in styling. Hair looks so much better without it. He did a great job in explaining the process he took. I hope she threw them away.

I have the same hair. I use to wear it long like hers. I have recently cut it up to my shoulders with very like face framing and the difference is remarkable. I do the side part and it does give you volume. I get so many compliments on my hair now it is amazing. I will need a wig soon because my hair is getting so thin.

I don't use dry shampoo. They are not healthy. Instead, I lightly powder my hands with corn starch & fluff it through my scalp and hair. LIGHTLY POWDER. 😆 It doesn't take much to do the job. A thin, light layer on my palms. It takes care of the oily situation! And, it has no scent that interferes with my allergies. Also, it's not expensive! 😃👍

I have the same issue and I do notice that when my part is off center, it does look fuller. Sometimes I tease it just a bit and then use a little bit off hair spray. My hair takes a great curl, even on dry hair.
