My Take on Robo Leaving Fwoosh and the Potential Fallout Involved

I always thought that Robo owned the Fwoosh.

No I think you're right. I think that the fwoosh is losing a major player for their channel. He to me was the face of the fwoosh. I would tune in to the weekly what robo had in store for us.

I feel Robo WAS Fwoosh no matter what it will NOT be anything without him and that’s a fact. You can’t take away the face and think it will sustain MARK MY WORD. He was the brand the channel isn’t ANYTHING without him put anyone they want there it doesn’t matter

I might be wrong here but I think The Fwoosh's plan is to move into a Figure Making Company instead of a News/Reviews Channel, that's where the whole thing came to be probably Robo and Veebs didnt want to get into the Production side of things and thats why they decided to walk away from The Fwoosh, and The Fwoosh's plan is to move on from being a Toy Community Site/Reviews etc to an actual Toy Producing Company. I personaly think they could have done both and let Robo and Veebs be the part of the News/Content Creator side of the company and have other people focus on the production side but maybe its a matter of conflict of intrest or who knows, on the other hand I think both Veebs and Robo dod the right choise becuase your dont want to work for a comany that isnt leting you do what you like to do, and its better for them to do the things they were doing independently rather than folding into a new role in the company that they werent going to be happy about.

Honestly robo kept fwoosh going. I'm wondering if they were keeping robo from talking about things he wanted to talk about also. I noticed they almost never covered action force in any weeklys despite action force being a up and coming player the last few years but they'll talk about monster force and every release for it despite that line not having a single figure out.

Any demands they would have made of Robo's videos would have been folly, because he was able to grow his audience doing what he enjoys doing. I think an additional factor is that Veebs and Robo both mentioned not wanting to be a part of a toy manufacturing outfit again. One could assume from that that the two of them being the primary faces of The Fwoosh's toy production would have soured them on the whole thing, since any blowback would have been directed their way. The Fwoosh as a channel won't thrive without Robo and Veebs.

I enjoy the weekly, and I really thought Robo was the Fwoosh. Maybe that's the problem? It's not about opening and reviewing at his level, alot of people doing that these days. It's about likeable, and fun personalities showing their faces that people want to watch do their unique thing in the community.

Good video. Robo and Shartimus are the two reviewers that got me into watching action figure content. It's simple: Robo has outgrown the FWOOSH. It happens. He is big enough and well known enough to do well on his own channel.

Pablolobo is the owner of The Fwoosh. I think when they decided to try doing a Fwoosh YouTube channel Robo was the one chosen and willing to do it. It seems like Pabs left it up to Robo to do whatever he wanted as far as the Fwoosh YT channel was concerned. They've been very good friends and Robo has been Pabs' main Admin on the Fwoosh website from the beginning. I think with Robo going out on his own that Pabs will just let the Fwoosh YT channel die off instead of getting someone else to do the Fwoosh Weekly. Robo has already said that he'll be doing a new Weekly on his Robo Don't Know YT channel, albeit under a different name since the Fwoosh name/brand belongs to Pabs.

The Fwoosh's staff has been getting smaller and smaller for many years. At times the number of Admins and Moderators reached 10-12. Many have left for different reasons, and new Mods were recruited from the Fwoosh Forum members. Some from the last wave of new Mods stopped interacting on the Forum years ago as well, devoting more time to their life I guess, and Pabs stopped recruiting new staff. I think in the past few years only 3 of the staff members were active on the Fwoosh website and Forums: Robo, I Bent My Man Thing, and Matt K (who kept himself more to the news and reviews portion of the site than the Fwoosh Forums). With Robo and Veebs officially leaving their posts as Admins of the Forums, website, and Fwoosh YT ventures, it leaves only IBMMT and Matt K as active staff overseeing the Fwoosh Forums and front page news and reviews.

I loved the Weekly videos. Robo was definitely the best part about the fwoosh. I rarely ever go to their site. Their forums are kinda lame and there are better sites for toy news. Props to Matt k though, he does do great toy photography.

well, to me it seems like The Fwoosh trademark is moving into the market of doing action figures by itself (on previous Weekly he had presented some of their new project, the Ninja Scroll figures) and Robo don't want to mix the brand with his own opinions and take on the market of toys. it seems to me pretty reasonable, especially from an market point of view.

We always thougth robo is the only person in fwoosh and imagine robo is the only person in fwoosh and he is leaving fwoosh.. mind blown..
