As a Canucks fan, absolutely LOVE these new signings, especially Lankinen. No chance we would be where we are in the standings without him

Having Sherwood as a last name and being a hockey player is so fitting

Nominative Determinism at its finest

One of the reasons Hughes had so much trouble during the Preds series was because of Sherwood, and he really wanted to have the guy on his team rather than having to face him again haha

He’s becoming the new Dakota Joshua. They said they wanted to find another one, and boom here he is.

Loved how Hughes was happy that we got Sherwood specifically because he was such a pain in the ass to deal with in the playoffs

sherwood in the one game i saw was also insanely good on the forecheck, just won every single puck battle

Sherwood doing justice to Dave Babych's 44. So glad to have him in a Canucks sweater this year.

I remember not even realizing Sherwood was a free agent when we signed him and was so excited when we did. Dude's been a perfect add so far.

When Dak is back in the lineup for us he’s going to love playing catch up to Sherwood’s hits total. Such a good pair of forwards for us to have on the team!

I WISH the Oilers had a GM like Allvin. What a tire fire the Oil are to start the season.

I saw that coming he was the guy I saw as a dakota joshua replacement... I was so hyped when we suddenly had both 💥

Sherwood in Vancouver and Koepke in Boston are the 2 most surprising forwards this year so far for me

The canucks were/are at their best when they have an identity. When they went on the cup run vs the rangers, they were loaded with character guys. Gino, Momesso, Diduck, Hunter...to name a few. They haven't had a lot of that in subsequent years but with Tocchet, they seem to be returning to that. They have skill guys and then some meant and potato players...who can put the puck in the net too. I think they are one more addition away from being a scary team

I want to see what haapens once Joshua comes back. Do they put him and keifer on the same line and just hit whatever line they pair up against into the grave? Or seperate and have 2 lines throwing constant hits?

I have lankinen and Sherwood on my nhl fantasy team, and every time the canucks play they rack up so many points.

If petey can play the way we all know he can play, Canucks will have the best contract management by far

I always liked Kiefer when he was with the Ducks, skated hard every shift just wasn't able to convert on chances back then. I didn't even realize he played so many games with Nashville last year, I saw him play a number of games in an Eagle's sweater.

I am really impressed with Lankinen. I saw him play a few games for the Preds last season and I liked him then too. He will definitely be the backup for Demko when he comes back. I like Silovs, but I think he might need a little more time in the AHL. He isn't doing too great right now, and I have a feeling that playoff performance last year took a little bit of a toll on him.

Coming from a Nucks fan, I’m must say it was a great decision to sign him. He is fitting in just fine with the squad. And also lankinen was also a great choice. He is certainly a high level keeper 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽been telling my wife, the new faces are fitting in well. Looking forward to see how the season pans out. GO NUCKS GO ‼️‼️‼️‼️
