From his first performance on AGT and hearing his story and how "his" students were his biggest fans. I was cheering for Richard. A simple man with simple needs, goes outside his comfort zone and simply does what he loves to do everyday while sweeping hallways. America needs more people like Richard. We'd be so much better off. It's awesome when the nice guy finishes first! I'm sick and tired of the animal acts, the child acts, and the professional competitors who go further than the talented people that make up the general population. To me, this is what AGT is all about.

Major Congrats to Richard. I was hoping & praying he'd win. Somehow I doubt he'll be a Janitor much longer. He has an agenda with AGT to fulfill & a show to work on coming up in Las Vegas. That's full-time work & he'll be spending much time out West.
