You don't need a special tool. I used the small end of a paper clip. Just something that will fit into that slot and let you pry the adjustment clasp up so you can move it, then lock it down again with your fingers.

It shouldn't require a tool to adjust the strap. Most watches are adjustable by hand. This is not good engineering for the strap. No wonder alot of people are returning this product on Amazon.
