Before you all ask the same old questions again:

Backwards compatibility is close to impossible for PS3 games. The Cell processor Sony used for the PS3 is way different than the x86 architecture in the PS4. The only options to run PS3 games on PS4 are either streaming (like this PS Now service) or remastering, which means basically building it from the ground up new. But this is a lot of effort which doesn't come for free. The third option would be emulation. But the PS4 is simply not strong enough to emulate a PS3.

You cannot compare it to Xbox, because the situation is a whole different one on PS4. But maybe there is hope for the future on PS5. They could either do backwards compatibility for PS1-PS4 or do at least do PS3 emulation. The power of the PS5 should be enough to handle this.

AGAIN: Backwards compatibility with PS3 games is not possible on PS4.

I had PS Now, and greatly enjoyed it. I only let my subscription lapse due to an ongoing internet issue. Now that the issue has been fixed, I plan to resubscribe again. However, I originally purchased PSNow during a $99 for a year sale and feel the regular pricing is just too steep, so I'm just waiting for that sale to come back around again.
