1915 DINING ROOM MAKEOVER | Renee Renovates

Pepto Bismol pink and beige just isn't the vibe... so it's time for a makeover! I went with neutrals on the walls and trim since my mom has so much colorful decor to add in here, but the sad beige lifestyle is just not for us. So the ceiling is green! And matches the patinated paint on the old shiplap wall perfectly. I also skim coated the walls smooth and restored the hardware on the 1915 hutch. I can't wait to see this room with lighting and furniture once my parents move in!

The built in hutch came out great! That shiplap wall is my favorite, it's so pretty!

Two things. First: Never thought about boiling the hardware to remove the paint. Nice thing to do.
Second: you have a ladder taller than the blue one and yet you used the last step of the blue one. Be careful you may loose your balance and fall if you climb on that last step.

My 1987 home built by an elderly coupe had pepto walls, pepto kitchen cabinets, pepto bathroom tile on walls and floor. I dare say the lady liked pink 😂
