Transitioning into your future and moving away from home, is an exciting time, but it sometimes comes with mixed emotions. The excitement of meeting new people, followed by hesitation around how you are going to cook and clean for yourself. At Deakin Res we have your back during this phase and have developed an extensive orientation and transition program for you. With 100+ activities and events awaiting you at each campus you will be welcomed into a community that values you as a person and provides you with a safe and supported environment as you grow.

Our wide-ranging program is run by our Campus Life team and volunteer residential leaders and will provide you with opportunities to meet your housemates, make new friends and familiarise yourself with the local area before Deakin’s traditional O’Week.
