Reflecting on journey to new KCI terminal opening

Things seem to be running smoothly as Kansas City International prepares to open the new $1.5 billion single terminal Tuesday. But getting this far was a bit of a bumpy ride.

Those ground breaking ceremonies are such a joke. They must feel like complete idiots shoveling a scoop of dirt out of a box like that. It would still be stupid if they were actually "breaking ground", but they don't even bother doing that anymore! It didn't cost enough money or look ridiculous enough I guess.
