Explicit vs Recursive Sequences

Показать описание
Comparative look at explicit vs recursive methods of defining sequences. A sequence is an ordered list and this explores alternative ways to describe it.

A recursive definition gives you the first term and a general rule for finding the next term given the one which come before.

An explicit definition gives you a rule for finding the value of an arbitrary term in the sequence based only upon its place in the order.
