I purchased a Westinghouse Utility Sink with cabinet and faucet for $289.00. One big problem, NO INSTRUCTIONS! I went back to the store to see if I could pick up a copy. No such luck apparently the store had a sale the ended the previous and they ran out of inventory. I bought the last one at the regular price. I called the customer service line to request instructions to be sent to me. I was prompted to leave my phone number and e-mail address. So far, no response from the customer service folks. So, now I’m trolling the internet for instructions and that is how I came upon your video. It is very helpful! I too have my cold and hot water pipes coming through the floor from the basement.

Good video. I purchased a sink without a base and found out later that my sink is larger than standard base cabinets so I will have to build a cabinet. That sink and cabinet combination you installed appears to be a good option since you get everything you need except for the three parts you had to purchase for your particular install. Those short water lines are for wall valves instead of floor valves. I ran into the same problem when purchasing new bathroom faucets. None came with long enough water lines.

My wife asked me to raise all of our bathroom cabinets to the newer heights. I soldered copper extensions onto my copper lines and then used Sharkbite push on quarter-turn valves. When re-plumbing a sink, it is a good time to update the older style water valves that used rubber seals. The newer quarter-turn valves use a ball valve.

If I were you, I would have cut off the cabinet a bit instead of baseboard. Good video anyway, very clear steps

Heads up to potential buyers, we had our basin crack at the drain within the first year. Returning it today.

Curious why you cut out the baseboards rather than just trim a little off the corner of the cabinet. I can't see the back of the cabinet very well from the angles of the camera, but it looked like it wouldn't interfere with the bottom shelf. Thanks. Good video.

I would use a 1" hole saw. Also put down 2" painters tape prior to drilling a the particleboard will chip less. If you purchase 1/4 turn shutoffs you will not have an issue with turning them off since they are oblong...

Did your unit have an issue with water standing around the drain? I just installed mine and water just sits around the drain. It seems the molded bottom is not sloped toward the drain causing the issue. I am not sure if mine is just not molded correctly.

The gasket for the tailpiece goes on too to seal the tailpiece to the strainer basket not underneath
