Apple has told us and committed to the European Commission that they will reinstate our developer account. This sends a strong signal to developers that the European Commission will act swiftly to enforce the Digital Markets Act and hold gatekeepers accountable. We are moving forward as planned to launch the Epic Games Store and bring Fortnite back to iOS in Europe. Onward!

This is honestly appalling, to say the least. Apple gave Epic a second chance in a way and Tim Sweeney blew it. If I were on Epics board I would have locked Tim in a room and taken away his Twitter account. Most CEOs don't just get to say whatever they want online because of this EXACT reason. They really needed a Spokesperson.

Although it's probably for the best anyways, even if Fortnite Mobile did come back it has been 4 years and has now become irrelevant for the majority of the playerbase. Also, they have made no effort to make the game good on Android. Even if they just optimized 1-2 devices for competitive play that would have been fine. At the end of the day, Epic had tons of money before the ban, and still a lot now even with the layoffs and Apple is still the same old Apple. So at the end of the day, the Players and Content Creators really ended up losing.

I never played much FN on mobile but I would like to commend you on behalf of the entire Fortnite community Ducky for covering this for the last 4 years. No one else has talked about this for a while and you really stuck around until the end of it providing updates as soon as they were available. I belive that should be recognized and I hope your channel picks back up again. Glad to hear War Zone is coming out soon so mobile players can get back to gaming.

Now thinking about it, this epic vs Apple dispute was a losing fight from the start. I know epic games believe they were the good guys and are doing the right thing for developers but this is not a movie and the good guys don’t always win. As all they truly accomplished was destroying the FM community. Apple has being pretty petty from time to time but I would also feel some type of way if I made something that everyone is using and it can’t really be replicated to the success of mines creation, but a couple of people think my rules and regulations are not fair. If I was Tim Sweeney I would’ve definitely fought this legal battle on the down low to keep that platform that making me the most money up and running for the secret legal battle expenses, and not show people how many L’s I’m probably about to get. I’m not gonna lie I still have a little hope. Im not just gonna waste my time waiting around, thanks ducky for all the updates and glimmers of hope you gave see you boy and girls I’m WZM!

there haven't been any recent announcements about Fortnite on iOS getting banned again. The original ban happened in 2020 due to a dispute between Epic Games and Apple regarding in-app purchases. While the legalities are ongoing, there have been talks about Fortnite returning to iOS in Europe due to the European Union's Digital Markets Act.
