My dad owns an audi s8 d3 and while it has been off the roads for around 6 years now I remember when I was a child I would ask my dad to put all the windows down in a tunnel and floor it. It is a truly incredible car. While being off the roads I have still had the pleasure to drive it off the roads and man is it great. Truly amazing car that I will never forget. My dad is looking to get it back on the roads this summer which is something I will push him to do as a car that nice deserves to be driven. Cant wait to see it back on the roads and thankyou for giving it the attention it deserves.

The XF was a competitor to the 5 series, not the 3 series (that was the XE). Brilliant cars the XF-R, with much more usable power than the M5 of the day.

Dads friend recently sold a Jag XFR. Had to spend a fortune on the gearbox as it failures due to a failed oil cooler. Had a XKR beforehand and had something to fix on that

I've got a LS460, even though the engine is smaller it's actually faster as the hybrid system in the LS600 weighs it down

My sister said she wanted a fun car for £6-8k, this was basically the list I came up with 🤣 As I've said before, she won't pay attention anyway, so telling her to buy a crazy powerful car.

Last week when I looked, there was also a very questionable looking BMW 760Li within budget though, which was my top choice. Hilariously, it's also ULEZ compliant (I think all of these might be?), because a 6.0 V12 BMW will be great for emissions I'm sure!

Most powerful car I've driven is actually a tough question - both the Panamera and M6 had 560hp so it could be a tie, but I've also driven a GT-R and Gallardo - I think the Gallardo was a 520hp version and the GT-R had 530hp but both do have 560hp versions too! Clearly a popular number - 560hp is definitely the most power I've driven though. Most per tonne I have no idea, but one of those at around 300hp/tonne. Not counting the rally-spec Evo or Westfield since they were just short drives at one of those experience days and didn't feel that fast.

Owned a few of the cars on both your 10k and 20k list - good content but I have to say you missed the most obvious car for value and power. Where was the VXR8 - I had the 6.2 but the 6 L is in the 12 k bracket. The 600 hp supercharged version can be had for around the 20k mark. I would recommend either. Even the auto box gives smooth driving and then the car can be a hooligan if required

I own the D3 Audi S83 years put 30, 000 miles on it sold it with 80, 000 miles on the clock for main dealer history. I promise you 10k will not buy a good one maintaining one of these vehicles is around £3000 a year at main dealer prices Brilliant car super luxury and well worth buying I now run an ML 63 shall put 40, 000 miles on the next two years totally different animal comfort seats more power 503 BHP light sitting in a rollerskate with a turbo charger on the back of it or rocket totally different from the D3 which is super luxurious and comfortableby these vehicles unmaintained at your peril and lose an arm 😂

Most powerful car ever driven... A BMW M6 with its 507 bhp😳... Very fragile, but when it works, blimey this stuff is a driving license eater, mainly because you haven't got a clue how quickly you go with this machine! Glad i drove this but i would never own one, it's a money pit 😳.

Fastest car I've driven to date was M5 5.0 V10 few years ago but gearbox went caput on drive back to London doing around 165 probably didn't help 😅😂

If you can't afford to buy the car new, you most likely can't afford to maintain a used one.

I own such a car! My advice is stay away! Spent another 10 - 15k maintaining it! Save it and buy a property or invest elsewhere.
