Orico PME-4U USB 3.0 Host Controller broken after first use

I bought a USB controller manufactured by ORICO (model PME-4U) on Aliexpress (in the Official ORICO store!). Win 10 recognized and installed the controller right away (Fresco Logic FL1100 drivers are integrated with the system). After restarting the computer 1 or 2 minutes later, the controller is no longer visible in the Device Manager. It also does not work (it is not visible) on 2 other computers (Win10 + Win7).
The hardware broke down literally on the first use! The controller only managed to install the drivers in the system (the hardware is still visible as hidden / unavailable / not installed after pulling down "Show Hidden Devices" list).
Right now PME-4U (and honestly, all other Orico devices) are highly NOT recommended...
