Pet scams on the rise

As more people are finding time to care for a pet, some scammers are pulling at the heart strings. Shauna Hunt explains what you should look out for to make sure you're getting the real deal

If you adopt/rescue animals instead of _buying_ them, then you can't fall victim to scams, nor will you create a disgusting market for inhumane mills and factory/farms. 😒

Adopt or get a pet from Pet Smart. Don't shop on kijiji for a pet. That's just terrible decision making

All I have is my dog, if I didnt have him it would be unbearable. I have bee separated from my children for the whole pandemic and it's like ripping out the very heart of my being.
