Parachutist taken to hospital after accident at Musket Bowl

A skydiver has been flown to a hospital following an accident at Friday night's Musket Bowl game, according to authorities.

he was trying to do a maneuver called "canopy piloting"... in which you do a high rate of descent followed by a traverse parallel to the ground before you stop. It is a risky maneuver.

Wow... to still go on with the game is pretty, (putting it bluntly) fucked up. Who would want to play or watch a game after something like test happening? Some take stupid sports WAY too seriously.

Why are school districts spending money hiring stunts like this? They spend a ridiculous amount of money on sports programs, then waste money on a spectacle like this. Man people’s priorities are screwy. Schools should be about teaching knowledge and skills…….
