Pompey needed to play us to reignite their season as they have a strong squad, Cowley has created a rivalry now with us so it was never going to be easy going to Fratton Park under the lights under these circumstances. Our archilles heel at the moment seems to be our defence- we have conceded poor goals and late goals in a few matches now which have cost points which cannot continue if we seriously want to contest automatic promotion. It will be interesting to see who arrives in January

We played well against a well motivated Portsmouth today but can’t let that happen again

I have to admit that I don't like McKenna's pedestrian passing style of football. Maybe with a few additions in January transfer window it will become more bearable. We were lucky to get a draw, all subs made team looking worse. Even Aluko had a very poor game. Burns is nowhere near last season form. He's a league two quality player this year.
