I see alien curves and designs haha. That's bizarre shapes like this can be more efficient. maybe much more! The things they're making will become the alien warships we see in sci-fi movies.

The flame appears to be a bit greenish, it implies some copper is evaporated from the alloy of the engine.

Thanks, your videos are always highly informative, I did a year back an extensive investigation on two latest developed alloys by NASA in that time, the GRCop-48 and the GRCop-42, but as you mentioned, super thermal resistant alloys are in continuous development and now the GRX-810 is the latest champion. I`m going to study this latest achievment and learn more. The conditions are favorable now more than never to reach a technology that support a thermal nuclear fusion rocket. Keep up with the good work and thank you once again.

Maybe a video on how “rotating detonation” can be used in a combustor for a turbine would be interesting. There is some talk / research about using this for turbines but I don’t understand how the technique can be applied.

rotating rocket detonation seems to me like a water vortex but with explosions. The controlled explosions allow for less turbulence

has spacex ever commented on these type of engines?

Please talk more about the spiralising effects. Scott Manley better watch his back! ;-)

Turbopump? How to get the fuel into the engine at the necessary pressure? Are the 3d printers for the alloys accurate enough to create the cooling channels reliably?

Inconel 718, creamic coated will do it if you have too. I woldnt even use Rocket engines. I would use something much more energy efficient at 5-10% of that engery used and 10 times faster...

The ability to think outside the box often leads to innovations. AI seems to be able to do this (sort of) by sheer computational force. Human researchers still have to moderate what AI can come up with, but only if they understand it sufficiently in the first place 😅

Hello
Are you interested to talk about HCPVT ?
Thanks

If they use liquids to cool down can't they also surface coght with tungsten so it wouldn't melt that much?

Does a tri propellant make sense for a aerospike engine, N2O4 / Methacetaline+LH2 for cooling the hottest areas ?

When I was a kid, I had these balsa wood airplanes with propellers attached to rubber bands. You'd wind the propeller until the rubber band was twisted real tight, then toss the airplane into the air. They flew great. Why can't these rocket scientists just use that? 🤪

This would actually work great when applied to smaller engine parts OR ANY 3d printed parts, just make me the perfect 3d printable model connectors. Like i wish my bambu studio or prusa slicer had this sort of st uff, i wish ioo could run 0ollama on a local ai server and have it run my 434d printed

if you do ai ins licer we can in the open source 3d printer community, . figure things out a lot faster than more expenbsive metal 3d printing.
let us play with this software for cheaper rapid 3d prints. Then well perfect this software by the time you have your metal 3d printer ready for its next job!
