Do you need to register a business to start a business?

A question I get all the time is "do I need to register my business?" and the answer is always the same.

Registering a business before you start selling can be useful but it can also be a waste of time to register your business.

Makes a lot of sense, thank you. I was also wondering if I need all these documents and bank accounts in order to start doing business before I came across your video. In my country it can take up to 4 months to fully register a business entity. You need so many things, soo many taxes to be paid, I think if anyone did everything "the correct way" there wouldn't be any businesses
