Arguing all the time 😂 What a fun video series, I’m excited and happy to watch them. Thank you! 😊

I love their series together. He’s told stories about how Julia was quite a prankster behind the scenes.

Watching those vids you can see that Jacques let's Julia have her way and is careful not to get in to any disagreements with her because of his respect for her as the elder statesperson even if he doesn't think she's right. You can even see just his slightest of smiles when she says or does something that he thinks is not correct but doesn't challenge her. Love 'em both.

Jacques Pepin, I have been watching you all my life, I'm 32. I enjoy watching you cook; it helps me relax. When I watch you, as an immigrant to this country (USA), I feel as if I'm watching my grandmother back home talking to me... Thank you for sharing great recipes, cooking tips, and most valuable insights all these years. THANK YOU❤❤❤

They always said that a recipe was a guide and not anything written in stone and now we know just how true that was.

I loved watching Jacques and Julia together. Them and the rest of the Chefs from PBS taught me a love of cooking that keeps me in the kitchen and out of fast food to this very day!

Mt sister-in-law was married to a shipping company magnate in San Francisco. They'd invite us over for dinner and who would be standing in the kitchen, cooking?? Julia. She was a family friend. Wonderful person, magnetic personality, great stories and not pretentious in the least, she just loved what she did. 😊

One national treasure sharing memories of another national treasure. I grew up in the country with really no children my own age. These two people were my best friends back then. They still are. And I'm a pretty damn good cook today because of them. I owe them so so much.

You and Julia were an absolute joy to watch! Listening to the subtile banter was so fun! You could tell the respect for each other, for the process and the end results of the food was of the highest level. Thank you for continuing to inspire generations to the joys of happy cooking😀( see what I did there! 😆😆)

It was lovely watching the two of them cook together. For special occasions I make both of their duck recipes and serve them up side by side, just as they made them. Yum!

Jacques you said it perfectly! I totally agree with the arguing, friendship, and of course sharing the wine. People who don’t understand that never had a close loving relationship. Jacques, from Southern California with love ♥️

They had a unique rapport. Both deferential and irreverent, there was no disguising that these two giants had distinct and separate opinions about how things should be done in the kitchen. Jacques, in terms of knowledge and skill, was far beyond Julia but Mrs. Child had that irrepressible personality. Somehow this created a partnership that was both strange and wonderful. I never tired of watching them. It was the one cooking show I can think of that completely transcended the food.

Parson's me monsieur Pepin'; I myself am almost already 1/2 (half) a century years old now... slowly approaching 50 yr. age soon. Mama mia! 😮😊
