The 'ramparts' was the key word in the clue.

Fort McHenry (as a Baltimore native, I better get this!)!

I was watching this evening, but stepped away for a few and missed the clue; when I got back Ken was revealing the questions. I turned it off, so I wouldn't know the correct response until the FJ video was posted here.✌🏾

As someone who was born in DC, grew up in PG County MD, and had Maryland geography and history shoved down my throat in elementary school, I would be ashamed to have gotten this wrong! BTW, only last year did I discover that one of my ancestors was aboard one of the ships (either the Ark or the Dove) that landed on St. Clement's Island in 1634, bringing the first settlers to Maryland. Never been there, but my folks and I used to go crabbing on a pier at Colton's Point MD which was only a few miles from the island.

Fun fact: Drew Basile is the third giant killer to secure his spot in the Tournament of Champions! The others were 11 game champion Jonathan Fisher and 6 game champion Eric Ahasic.

This was a good clue.

You have to think quickly. The ramparts line gives away that it's about the national anthem. The trick is to then remember the location the anthem was written about.

This clue makes you parse and connect two bits of information while not being unreasonably difficult.

glad this guy is winning, he is from Birmingham, MI which is in my neck of the woods. metro detroit is rooting him on, seems like a nice guy too

Way to go, Drew! It was the word “ramparts” that should have given it away.

Drew's body language before his answer was revealed made me think he answered wrong! 😭

Really enjoy watching Drew. He just seems like such a laid back, humble kind of guy. Sense no arrogance. Wishing him a long winning streak.

My guess for this Final Jeopardy Clue would have been 1 of the following 3.
1: Fort McHenry
2: Fort Knox
3: Key Bridge

Watching Drew's antics when he wins puts me off. Maybe I'm just biased, but he seems overly cocky and arrogant.

Fun fact ( I had no hope of getting this one ) due to not being American.

Congrats to Drew Basile for being the first male with 5+ wins to qualify for the 2025 Tournament of Champions. I knew he had today’s game in the bag.
