New research has confirmed the devastating effect on the brain for many who play America's number one sport.

Post-mortem examinations of more than 200 former NFL players found that nearly 99 percent revealed signs of a disease linked with repeated blows to the head.

We work soooo hard to prevent zika virus which causes brains in babies to shrink, yet we glorify these violent sports which do essentially the same thing in adults.
