Guy Fieri is something of a force of nature. He has we're-not-even-sure-how-many shows, and endless professional appearances. However, it's Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives that's Fieri's enduring calling card, the show which will be his legacy when all is said and done. With more than 40 seasons in the can, Fieri has covered a lot of ground and profiled a myriad of American dining establishments. Unfortunately, appearing on Triple D is not always good for businesses, and some have experienced the opposite of the Fieri Bump they were expecting. Let's take a look at who you might not want to be on Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives.

I like the show. Guy seems like a good guy. Looks can be deceiving. It is what it is. If the food is good, it will sell. Period. Being on that show should help some. Helped a lot of others over the years. Was fun to watch. Great video

My fiancée and I attempt to go to as many DDD restaurants as we can. It’s a fun excursion! About 15-20 deep so far.

Guy routinely sets up his crew to cater for fireflighters and first responders here in NorCal when we have wildfires. He keeps it on the down-low though so most people don't know. He gives a lot back and you can see he is a decent man by the way he's raised his kids.

The food from his own restaurants is terrible. Unless grease and salt are your two favorite flavors.

The food wouldn't be nasty if the restaurants really cooked the food from scratch like they do on TV.... can't help the owners LIE

Personally meeting him once, all he said was “this is my restaurant, I taught them everything they know.” Which we know isn’t true.

12 and 15 grand is a lot of money, but your show runs endlessly. The show will most likely be syndicated, it can be seen on Youtube, all over the web forever, etc. If you're restaurant owners, it's possible that your advertising investment, and that's how it should be looked at, is pretty cheap. In the end, the market decides how good you are, not the show. The show gets people in the door, after that, you have to be as good as you say you are.

One show is indistinguishable from the other. Just different faces, schlock food and background actors filling the seats uttering the same lines.

At least Guy is positive, something missing in your video here. (Just bashing GF). He supports Ma & Pa establishments, not corporate, something i can agree on. Talk about his good attitude and what he has done for people.

Mr. Fieri Came to a Prominent Hotel in The Ohio Valley. I was having an after-dinner drink after a business meeting when Mr. Fieri stomped his already highly intoxicated self into the bar demanding a full bottle of Vodka from a barmaid. Upon consulting management and then refusing to supply Mr. Fieri with the bottle requested because he was already intoxicated. Mr. Fieri started yelling at the barmaid and hurling verbal insults calling her stupid, worthless and using foul language. He was then approached by Hotel Security and asked to return to his room and not to come to the bar again or the Police would be called. While being escorted from the Hotel bar we could hear him shouting at Hotel Security cussing and using more foul language and saying do you know who I am? I will have your job Blah Blah Blah. I used to like him after that night I never watched his show again and lost total respect for him. I believe the fact he is nice on camera and rude when not in front of it. I witnessed in full force his arrogance, rude, and unprofessional self.

So how are the businesses losing money? Why is it causing the restaurant's to lose money? You have to explain it better.

I know the restaurants Guy Fieri visited in Duluth Minnesota are doing great. In fact, I never go eat at them because they are so busy. One tiny place closed but that was because of the pandemic. Their food was actually very good, but they were primarily an Italian market and fairly small with a very limited menu. People like variety. I wouldn’t eat 98% of the food that is cooked for the show because it’s far too greasy and portions are far too large. I don’t like restaurant leftovers.

Well, Bobby Flay is no fan! Apparently Guy received a new 90milion $ contract and Bobby only was offered 80million for "beat Bobby flay". Bobby walked.
I'm sure he will get picked up on the Food Network, I heard he was no happy. 😒

I hate chefs that let their long hair hang loose around food. Pioneer Woman, Giada, Ina Garten your hairs fall out of your head regularly. Pin it back, better yet wear a ponytail or wear a hair net! Nasty!
