Sony DROP Copyright Claims on The Last of Us Part II Leaks Video!!

Sony have DROPPED both copyright claims against my channel regarding my #TheLastofUs Part II leaks video. It is currently up and available on my channel to be watched. By are Sony biding their time for ANOTHER claim later?

I dunno man, if there is anything this fiasco has taught us its that companies have way too much power in regards to silencing others without due cause. This idea that they can copyright strike someone, withdraw and then copyright strike the same video again -- this is just insane.

If you are going to copyright strike someone it should be with the intent that you can prove this in a court of law, not because you don't like someone or what they are saying. The fact that Google is complicit in all of this does not shelter them from any blame whatsoever. They took it upon themselves to be the unofficial police with regards to DMCA and they don't get to shirk their duties when its inconvenient. In a court of law, the defendant is presumed to be innocent until proven guilty -- the way Google's system is setup now, if someone copyright strikes you, you're basically guilty until proven innocent.

If it were me, I would still sue these guys, because all this amounts to is intimidation. They know about the 3 strike rule on Youtube and they basically had no problem with the prospect of destroy yours and many other channels just to protect their bottom-line.

So glad that they have dropped the claims, but YouTube should make them paid for their abusive acts. They can't just walk away dropping claims on everything they don't like as if they are wild children.

This is completely mental. I don't think I've seen anyone behave the way Sony/Naughty Dog are. Not Disney with the Infinity War and Rise of Skywalker spoilers, not even HBO with GOT.

Let's torch our goodwill in exchange for a hopeful boost of our garbage product's early sales, which we know are going to tank anyway because the product is garbage, effectively defrauding people by giving them what didn't want to buy. That's a sound business strategy.

Surely they needs to be some punishment put in place for these big companies bullying and throwing there weight around, abusing the system and threatening people's livelihoods for selfish reasons.I hope the gaming company take a long hard look at Sony because since the news release of the PS5 the company has went out it's way to piss off as many people as possible because they think there untouchable.

Don’t care. Sue them. You know they’re stalling for time. They already did damage to so many people that can’t be undone. Some of them even lost their channels. Don’t stop just because they stopped because they’ll just start again. Then they’ll drop it again to avoid a lawsuit.

Both You and "Someguy" threatened to sue and G+G didn't, Jeremy has said that he isn't really concerned and that he'll just move on and make more videos rather than fighting over the videos pulled down..but you and "Someguy" threatened to get legal. Sony knows they have nothing on any of you, they're just trying to use intimidation to shut all of you up for a while..but getting legally involved scares them..as big as they are, they know they don't have a case..so my guess is that they'll just play the stalling game and back down when there's a hint that things might get serious.

Before the Struck video gets taken down again you should film a video of you Reacting to the Struck video. That way if they DO strike it again then you just upload that and essentially have it uploaded again but with more of You in it. :)

If the strikes do end up staying off, if I were you I might go ahead with legal action anyway to hold them accountable. They have no case against you, and it could set a precedent on false copyright cases, not to mention it’d encourage them to stop pulling this shit.
