I still can't wrap my head around the fact this is a voice of a 13 year old 😳 I learned that today and I couldn't believe it.

She was indeed 13 when she recorded this (born Dec 1944) & had been singing since she was about 6. So by 1958 she was a polished act & all ready had the voice to pull it off which is more than i can say for most adults. About all of her pop rock hits were while in her teens. Then she went country which is where she began & continued having hits thru the '70s & beyond. Having said that i'll say this: The video clip was of another song done when she was 13. Either you like it or not - but it does get the point across. She did a great job with her Christmas hit (recorded July of '58 & released that Nov) & i always liked it. 1958 was a long long time ago ! I feel like some kind of fossil

Everytime I feel down and out all I have to do is listen to this Christmas song and I feel so happy 😊 to be alive. It doesn't matter what month it is. All is well for me. Thank you God I have a roof over my head and food in the refrigerator. This song brings back lots of good memories. Having fun with my friends on the weekend. I grew up in the 60's and I had such good fun. 😊😊
